CNA’s and LPN’s are very rude to any caregiver being provided by a patient by an outside company. Worked around 5 on a floor and only one was nice, the others walk around as if they hate their jobs. They completely change their attitudes when family comes to visit. Front desk staff are great. Security staff are too. The place is so lit up at night and all big windows face each other. No privacy, staff are loud at night hanging around each other or playing the tv so loud that you can’t sleep. The freeway is right next to this place, loud traffic all night long. Let’s not even talk about wound care, it’s non existent. Good luck getting your clothes washed, when the aides feel like it is when that will get done. Sorry, totally unimpressed and my family will never go here.

After touring over 11 different communities (yes 11!) both in Kansas and in Arizona, we are choosing the Atriums for my Dad’s permanent residence. We toured the Atriums several times over the past several months. We spoke with multiple staff members, residents, and administration. We are always taken with their honesty, wisdom, patience, expertise, and the resident’s obvious happiness. The Director of Nursing is extremely experienced, thoughtful, and wise in determining a resident’s care needs. Rather than fitting your loved one into a box that serves the community model, the are concerned with fitting the community to your loved one. No one is treated as a number, and I’ve witnessed all levels of staff willing to assist with resident needs. The therapy services are top notch, as they possess the latest equipment for balance, speech, OT, PT, and exercise both in the gym and a lovely indoor pool. Best of all, the food is exemplary, with farm fresh selections presented for each meal. The activities are varied and numerous with a coordinator that’s been in place for over a decade. I cannot wait for my dad to begin his residency as I know he will be so grateful!

I've only encountered one rude staff member. And I figured she was probably new or having a bad day. Either way, I have always been extremely impressed with the way my grandmother whom resides here has been treated and looked after.

I went there for a job interview and while i sadly did not get the job. The owner Lucile was a very kind hearted women, the facility was very well kept and staff treated the residents like the were family. I have work in assisted living facilities before and this is where i would want to see my parents at.
