Welcome to KC! Breathe deep, you smell that KC BBQ, it's the smell of Arrowhead. A lot about this place is rundown, but here that's part of the marinate. Its where it gets its authenticity. The sauce, the smells, my goodness you have found a gem!! I recommend the ribs, the turkey sandwich, burnt ends, or the brisket. The taste is just right, it doesn't need BBQ but it just feels right. Such a legendary KC place! ❤️💛 Enjoy!! 🍞 🍗🫕

Not sure I’ve ever given a 1-star review and with as popular a place this seems to be I was frankly surprised! First…almost walked out (and should have) after seeing the kitchen! It was awful! Grease and sauce everywhere. I’m not sure how it passes food safety and health inspections. The dining areas needing cleaning and updating but could look past that if everything else would have been ok. Service was meh at best. Then the food…unfortunately we threw over half of it away. The brisket looked like it was boiled, no flavor, but at least tender. The burnt ends were definitely burnt tasting and smothered in sauce that overwhelmed any flavor of the meat. The Cole slaw was extremely sloppy, tasted like mayo more than anything and the picture doesn’t even do justice to how unappetizing it looked. The potato salad wasn’t bad but nothing I can’t get from Walmart. And the BBQ sauces…tasted more like ketchup than anything else. Overall, id tell people to stay away. There’s definitely better in KC for BBQ. Way better.

Good ribs. The fries were very good. Cold beer. The burnt ends were overly saucy. Best cole slaw around. Legendary place that met expectations.

Arthur Bryant's feels very real and the experience was great! Upon walking up to the front door you can already smell savory Barbeque in the air. Once you step inside you immediately come face-to-face with a great deal of history; it was hard not to get caught up in just studying each photograph or poster hanging on the wall. At Arthur Bryant's you order at the counter and pick up right away. The fries were fresh and they cut the brisket right in front of you. The gentleman behind the glass was very helpful in narrowing down what deliciousness I wanted; he explained the difference between some items that caught my eye but sounded similar. In the end, I selected the burnt end sandwhich sans bread which ended up giving me exactly what I was looking for without buying at the per pound price. The burnt ends were among the best I've had in KC although it came out looking more like chunky pulled pork in a way. I also ordered a half pound of brisket, but could not finish it in this sitting; it regeated nicely and tasted great with their special sauce the next day. The visit might have been slightly more enjoyable if it weren't so drafty inside. I was shivering practically the whole time and it really took away from enjoying the food. This is obviously a seasonal thing that would likely not impact my experience outside of the dead of winter. Definitely a spot to try and I'd recommend Arthur Bryant's based off the quality of food.

I'm sure they will love it
Yes we are, normal hours butwe will close at 8 instead of 9 so staff can go out with family for fireworks
From what my friends have said ,even though the signs say no tipping ,when they say they will hook you up real good, they are saying if you slide me a tip . You get the top meat cuts if you tip and if not, watch them walk to back area to grab your selection for the lower grade meat cuts
No delivery service at this time. Sorry
Yes you can order it from them
It's a pale imitation by comparison. Both those I know, as well as myself, have not had very good experiences at the Kansas location. You are better off going to the classic location.
Of course you can. But I don't know if they send where your at. Text them and ask them.
Probably not and good luck with getting anything current. They can't keep the meat inventory up so have fun trying to get anything else current. They are only still in business bc of their reputation, they do not take anything seriously. Not the inventory, cleanliness or customer service.
Closed for the holiday.
Depends on the state most likely the have restaurant in Kansas and Mo. I would suggest calling them to find out.
Absolutely!!
No lettuce and only white bread. You could take in your own lettuce.
We do have buns available for sandwich, upon request
That is a better time than an hour earlier. The more into the spring/summer the longer the lines. Our guess is 15 minutes or kess
No you go wait in line which is long but goes quickly and order and eat the whole thing and then regret eating the whole thing and then love the fact that is was so good that you couldn't stop eating
Why what do you want to do complain about something then corporate schrils don't give up
I called and was given corporate ph # and a lovely lady Cindy helped me purchase gift card & she is mailing to me...thanks!
