I’ve been to all the “top” BBQ restaurants in KC and by far my all time favorite is Char Bar. At our most recent visit we were greeted promptly and our server was very friendly and attentive. We’ve tried many items on the menu but this time went with the Whomp platter. Everything was delicious especially the ribs and burnt ends. Drinks were great and they make an excellent smoked Old Fashioned. There is a great outdoor area to eat or just have drinks while you wait for your table. I would highly recommend Char Bar and we will continue coming back!

The mac n cheese was really good and so were the hush puppies. They actually have a really helpful menu online that specifically outlines what items are meat free
Yes, there are gluten free options. I don't remember what they are at the moment. I'd suggest visiting their website and view their menu.
