If I could give this a Vineyard no stars I would. We bought tickets month in advance to join their adult Easter egg hunt, we parked our car at 2:00, the event started at 2:00. We walked looking for any kind of greeting or acknowledgement. The check in table for the Easter egg hunt was abandoned. When we found someone to talk to, she VERY rudely told us the hunt was over! This is now about 2:10 pm!! We asked if there had been any kind of introduction, she said yes, at 1:45! The tickets say the event starts at 2:00 pm! We live an hour away and wasted $40 on this. If you advertise your event for 2:00pm, you don't start the event at 1:45, most people aren't going to be there. Next spring we will send the extra $40 to go to this event at a classier vineyard, with employees who are not rude and condescending like the one we experienced today. We were excited for this event, drove an hour away to attend it, and it turned into a waste of time and our money. Our experience was horrible, and we did not even get an offer for our money back for an event that was started before it's scheduled time.

Amazing experience today at Veramar! Jen made our experience personal and definitely one to remember. She discussed the wines at great length with us and was very knowledgeable. 5 star experience this time and every time! Stop for the wine and stay for Jen!!

I just happened to discover this winery while doing a search for wineries in Virginia. My husband & I enjoy Virginia wines and decided to drive the 2 hours from PA to try it. We are so glad that we did! Rarely have we ever found a winery …We're so happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience!
