The farm is beautiful and the staff is super friendly. That said, they have a tough time accommodating large amounts of people efficiently. There four places you need to check-in at throughout the process. First, to get your ticket and map, then to have your tree bailed, then to pay for your tree, then to load your tree. Not an issue if the crowds are light. But with a lot of people, each of those steps requires waiting in line. We arrived at 1020 on the Friday after Thanksgiving and left about two hours later. I’d estimate 30 minutes of that time was for walking the farm and picking a tree. Like previous reviews, many of the choice trees were already tagged as sold which got a little frustrating. Nevertheless, we were in the spirit. Oh, and the parking situation also doesn’t work well with large crowds. One lane parking with no signs or marshallers makes for significant bottlenecks. Easily a four or five star experience with no one around but two stars reflects our experience on the day after thanksgiving.
