Delicious food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. This was my first time trying Greek food and I was blown away by what I've been missing. My partner and I ordered the fried artichoke appetizer and the entree sample platter, which comes with a variety of Greek staples and restaurant specialities. Every single item was flavorful and delicious. My favorites were the spanakopita and the lamb. The moussaka and baked pasta dish were also really good. For dessert we ordered an item whose name I can't pronounce or remember, but it was a baked custard wrapped in filo pastry. It was heavenly. I'm not sure if they have live music every night -- we went on a Friday night -- but the music, combined with people spontaneously getting up and dancing and shouting "opa!," created a fun and lively atmosphere. This is not somewhere you'd want to go for a quiet evening out. Overall it was a wonderful experience and my partner and I look forward to coming back!

Absolutely the best Greek place in all of LA. Don't get fooled by those rodeo drive Costco knockoffs. This place has amazing Greek food and a proper saganaki with cognac flame; we order it twice every time we make it out. The whole roasted fish is an absolute delight. Their desserts are also exceptional, as is their house wine, service and entertainment. Truly a gem.

The Great Greek restaurant is truly amazing. Great food, excellent service, awesome live Greek music with lot of Greek dancing. The Roasted lamb it is simply delicious, mousaká and pastitsio were prepared to perfection, spanakopita was fantastic and the galaktoboureko dessert was truly amazing. There is a great reason why this place is been there for 38 years.

Love this place! Been eating here on and off for several years. Still one of the best Mousakkas around. Hubby had Chicken Souvlaki. Avogolemono (chicken lemon soup) is delicious as are their appetizers (Taramasalata dip, Hummus) and Grape Leaves (hot with beef). Always look forward to dining here. Servers are always very attentive.

No restaurant lists prices of alchohol by the ounce
It's a restaurant, not a shop.
No. No breaking the plates. At least I haven't seen anyone do it.
I would recommend it as they do get busy. Though it is not required.
