Stribling orchard does not prune their trees. The apples are bug-eaten, rotten, and very small. The ground between the trees is littered with decaying fruit. They do not cultivate the land around the trees or plant new trees. They grow very few varieties of apples. This orchard has been this way for years. I would not waste your time and money traveling to this orchard.

What time does Apple season end
They do have an area with some picnic tables around the snack bar area
We stop letting people up into the orchard at 4:30pm to ensure that we can close at 5pm.
You can go to their website for hours... I just Google'd "Stribling Orchard" and you will find their web page. If feeding the deer, I'd recommend going when they are allowing you to collect ground apples.

Actually they are not. On their faq page they say no pets. Frequently Asked Questions Can I bring my dog? No. Sorry, we no longer allow pets at the orchard. It can get very busy and crowded with cars, children and farm animals, so please leave your four-legged friends at home. http://striblingorchard.com/plan-your-visit/rules
I'm not sure if they are open for the apple picking season yet. I was there this last September. They have a little store but I would call first.
