Officer Dave McCune was very kind to me as I was extremely suicidal. Once he made sure I had no weapons, he shook my hand and told me that him and his comrad want to help me. He asked about my Marine Corpe boot camp sweetshirt. My dad was a proud Marine but died a year and a half ago due to a 8 year battle with prostate cancer from exposure to agent orange during Vietnam war. My life is hard without my father. However officer McCune showed genuine care and compassion for a fathers daughter. My dad spent his entire life in a career in law enforcement. How proud and thankful I know he would be tp Dave. God bless you.

My wife was ticketed at 3am going to work for allegedly doing a rolling stop while heading to work at Sagert and 65th by atfalati Park. At court even the judge questioned the officer about how stupid this was. Police officer mad my wife cry and really didn’t care because he was heartless in my opinion. Tickets to residents is going to happen yes but come on 3am? I think they should stop fishing for offenses from people and try to do something about the theft from vehicles, vagrants around the downtown area, and maybe walk through the park triangle of tualatin, Durham, and cook park and do something about the drug addicted homel as people living in the area. Also it’s time we get a couple officers out of the vehicles and patrolling on foot around the downtown area. We pay a lot of property taxes this should be able to be done. The area from Fred Meyer to the library and old haggens building to the new shopping center needs a couple officers on foot in that area during certain times. Lastly how about doing something about the tualatin food mart being a haven for drunks, criminals, and scary looking folks. They also sell people alcohol after being visibly intoxicated and that needs some constant attention.

Super rude on the phone. Felt like I couldn't finish a sentence without them interrupting me.

Questions & Answers

It seems there is a stolen Van parked in front my house. If it was stolen. Why haven't the police been out to ask neighbors with security cameras for the footage of those who left it? Simple to me if they were even interested in finding who left it

Thank you for your message. Our officer recovered the stolen vehicle, spoke with the owner of the house it was parked in front of, and checked nearby houses for security cameras.

Does the Tualatin Police Department have an expired medication depository? If so, is it currently available for deposits?

Calling whatever station they were booked at. They will either have their belongings there or wherever the person went.
