Went in for a trim and was told by the hairdresser that she would be taking about 2 inches off. I had medium length hair that takes forever to grow and told the hairdresser that also. My back was not facing towards the mirror so, I couldn’t see what she was doing. She ended up chopping my hair without saying she would go more than 2 inches, so clearly I was not happy (and I was on the verge of tears). When I got home I measured where my hair was, to where it is now and 6 inches was taken off. The haircut overall was fine because I just wanted it cut straight across so it’s hard to mess that up. It’s just the amount that was taken off wasn't what I told her I wanted. Won’t be returning especially if you don’t listen to what the client wants.

Crazy haircut, performed on my 7 yr old son on 07/15/2020 by stylist Beth at 1367 W.Palmetto Pk.Rd, in East Boca Raton, Fl. We are good customers of that location and never had any problems with either of stylists. But on July,16,2020, smth went wrong with "stylist" Beth, who was the only one working that day at that location. We walked-in to the salon with nobody in there. 5 minutes later that barber/hairdresser showed-up from outside. She did not listen or payed attention to the styling we asked her to perform, the one that we normally got with other barbers and was absolutely ignoring my requests on the style of my son's haircut. We always had the same "navy cut" style done by other guys at that location. To my total shock and surprise, Beth just used the clipper on my son's hair starting from the forehead, all the way, to the back of his head, leaving a gash in the front! Instead of starting clipping hair from the back, as the 'Navy cut" style suggests and is normally done, and not touching the front. I tried to ask her to stop clipping the hair from the front, but she was ignoring my requests, not listening to me. After I told her that she had ruined my son's hair style and she realised it, she got mad with it without finishing her job screaming at my 7yr.old to leave, threatening to call the police. Obviously, there was something wrong with that lady, that morning? But it does not excuse her from rude, unprofessional and totally unexceptable behaviour, that scared my children, who were frightened and shocked with her unstable behaviour. Such an unprofessional and totally unexceptable behaviour of some personal of that hair salon, puts a dark shadow on the entire Great Clips business reputation. This complaint is going to BBB and will be addressed to Consumer Affairs bureau.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
