Having my first child at Jackson South Maternity Ward was the best decision I ever made. They are so welcoming and caring, extremely knowledgeable and ready to answer all of your questions. They made it easy for my family and I to welcome our child. I have to thank my doctor Dr. Stephanie Delgado, supportive and kind, always checking in on you. Ms. Lisa my nurse, the best nurse, so supportive felt like family and the one I recommend asking for, Ms. Nadine in the nursing room who was on top of my child care and very encouraging and lastly, Ms.Celina the lactation consult, amazing. Her teaching and knowledge makes you feel like you know what you are doing as a first time mom. Thank you Jackson South Maternity Ward.

I was in Key West for a wedding. Was attacked, had 8 facial fractures & the some. Was & airlifted here (Jackson South). These people took great care of me. Made me feel very comfortable & were super helpful throughout my whole stay. I am very great ful & thankful for their care. All the staff who i was in contact with during my stay was very professional but I must say they went above & beyond with their service. Thank you & God bless.

Avoid this emergency room. They are very unprofessional and the nurse does not want to work here and is overwhelmed. They made me stay in pain for more then 5 hr. It a shame how the medical staff work in this hospital. I will never recommend this hospital.
DEAF ART MIAMI FESTIVAL
The floor staff is excellent but the Social Workers and Case Manager are not equipped to do their jobs. How is it possible that a patient cannot obtain a commode and a walker when going home? Waiting four days for equipment to be delivered to take mom home and we are taking her home without. We purchased privately even though she has medicaid and medicare.

Try to arrive 15 minutes early, but you shouldn't wait long.
When you're half dead, & even then they may have you in the waiting room for 9 hours just to get into triage.
At this time, Jackson has not made plans to provide public vaccination for boosters. We expect vaccines to continue being widely available across South Florida at groceries, pharmacies, and other locations.

If you have a covid test, you just have to go anywhere in Miami. County. As a government center. 216st sw cutler bay. Metro Zoo. 152 st. 122ave. Sw. Miami dade college. Tropical park. Dolphin mall. Free. Also all pharmacies do city's for the covid test. Just call or go in person.
