Me & my fiance have now made it our yearly tradition to go apple picking at Riamede!! Always a wide selection of apples, have amazing apple cider along with their donuts!!
Katalena Mermelstein-Knox
Wonderful place, it has a ton of signage, color coded orchard, huge variety of pumpkins in their patch, and a pick your own tomato garden. They used a timed entry ticketing system for weekends, but never checked our time, so it didn't …Katalena, thanks so much for the review, and we hope to host you again soon!

Our staff and students enjoyed our annual Apple picking trip. We highly encourage doing the group tour because Ashley was very informative and knowledgeable about the apples. We learned so many facts about apples, such as how apple trees …Thanks so much for bringing your group yesterday, Irene. What a terrific mission you have - we were glad to be able to interact with your associates and staff. See you again next year!

The Farm was nice. I wish the trees were better labeled. There is a good map, but it's easy to forget which is which when you get out in the orchard.Hi Cassandra, thanks for your review! Hope to have you back again soon.

I started driving the hay wagon last weekend sat was beautiful in the 60s and sun warmed up the galas are sweet , rhode island deerlings, and Macintosh are good
We did too aweek and a half ago. They are all over Chester and Flanders now. Disaster
No only kids 6 and older
Not that I saw but I'm not 100% sure
Yes. In full swing now. A week ago Fuji was not ripe yet but others were available
Yes you can. They also have pumpkins laying out for children.
Quest year I believe it was $1.99 cents per pound, however the only way to actually find out is to go there. They will not post that information on their website and they will not answer their phone. They raise the price on weekends for the apples. They also charge $2 admission in 25 cents per bag if you don't bring your own bags when you are picking the apples
Yes
Not even 5 mins. It's a very comfortable walk even with kids. This farm is not that big, its perfect size.
We sternly enforce our “no dogs” policy for health and food safety reasons. Trust us, you do not want large animals where your food is grown!! We have an in-depth understanding of NJ’s service dog statutes [N.J.S.A. 10:5-29] and would never deny entrance to a bona fide service dog. Therapy dogs and comfort dogs are not service dogs under NJ law. Bona fide service dogs do not have IDs, certifications or similar documents. The courts have deemed such identification requirements as discriminatory toward the disabled. Consequently, presenting service dog IDs is a red flag that a dog is being misrepresented as a service dog when it is not. Such misrepresentation is subject to fines under NJ’s law. Service dog cheaters are a continual problem as can be seen by commenters who have been denied entrance. Our goal is to treat everyone equally and not to allow special privilege to those who mislead and lie.
Local Guide responses are so unhelpful because the information relayed is always wrong!! That is hurtful to all businesses, not just our farm. Riamede has never never ever charged $2.49 a pound for apples, never. Riamede's hayride has always been free. Riamede has never charged more than $3 for admission. We truly don't understand what is so "sad" about walking through an orchard to find apples. That's what a pick your own apple farm is all about! So, local guides, please refrain from responding if you don't know the correct facts, and spare us your alternative facts. Also, please, don't confuse us with other farms in the area that do have higher prices.
I went today and paid $3 per person.
Stayman winesap apples won't be ripe unitl sometime in October.
I'm sure you can
They have differ kinds of apples most of fall. You can go apple picking anytime in October.

The Rubies are typically ripe, or almost ripe, when we open in early September. It is an early heirloom sweet crisp apple that ripens during the first two weeks of September. By later September, as with all early varieties, the Ruby will begin to soften.
Yes $2 per person ,but that includes the hay wagon ride we are probably the least expensive orchard around no playground, no pony rides ,no slides ,just a nice day in a nice orchard with you loved ones picking delicious apples
