I think the only thing more depressing about this dog park other than it being closed on a Saturday morning is the decrepit park itself. It’s rumored that the large dog area has been closed down due to residents next to the park complaining about dust. I could understand that being an issue if the houses themselves didn’t look halfway rundown. Bougie has certainly transformed if these type of residents have the power to shut down part of a well-needed dog park. You’re better off sticking to your neighborhood on-leash park or just letting them loose in your complex dog run. My dog couldn’t help but laugh at how the park was closed. This place is… trash.

Pretty desolate on a Saturday morning. More dogs in the actual park. Pretty much just dirt and rocks.

Drove my husky all the way to this dog park only to see that the small dog only section was open. Nice park though.

I love this dog park! It's extremely laid back and everyone I've met there have been very nice and outgoing. I usually go on fridays around noon and it's always full of pups!
