Overall it’s a decent dog park. It has two areas, one for bigger dogs and one for smaller dogs. There were lots of dog bowls that could be filled up with water if you needed it and the area was pretty clean, so it looks like owners are cleaning up after their pets. There is limited shade and no grass so keep that in mind

Beware of the Karen with the white hat and the rat dog! She thinks she owns the park and makes whatever rules she wants, even though her dog barks at every other dog and she has no control over him. She wonders why no other dogs want to play with her dog. It's cause you're a KAREN!! no one wants to deal with your drama

This is a great city park it is absolutely huge and has everything that you would expect to find in a park available. From two different dog parks the sports fields to a small waterspout park for the little ones as well as couches and outdoor sitting area is a human-sized chest playing set as well as to cement ping pong tables as well as countless other things that I still haven't seen.

Truly a Hidden Gem in the heart of Mission Valley! Lots to do at the Park, Ping Pong tables, Chess Pieces, Splash Pad for the Kiddos, Playground Area, Dog Park, beautiful seating areas. Lots of Restrooms, very clean and well-maintained. Lots of pathways to enjoy a nice long walk. At the top of the park there's a beautiful pathway leading to Dog Park which displays an awesome, colorful Mural depicting famous Landmarks around San Diego.
