It is a pretty big park. There are logs and such for the dogs to climb on instead of play-ground like equipment. It's a beautiful natural area right next to Balboa Park. It is also a well maintained park. There's enough space to throw balls and play fetch. There are always plenty of dogs there to play with or at least a few.

Came for the first time with my 2 labs and will keep coming. One of the few places left in SD with a large open space for dogs to play off leash. Other dog owners seemed fine. Only recommendation is make sure you bring your own "poop bags". All the bins were out so just a heads up!

This is a favorite for my pup and I! The dog park itself is fenced in and very large, large enough to have some space for dogs to run and separate if your dog doesn’t do crowded spaces or just needs a little walk to reset. There is no separate fencing for large/small dogs but the fenced in area is large enough that smaller and larger dogs can both play in the park without even interacting if desired. There are two entrances which is soooooo helpful since the main one is often where the action is, the side entrance is probably preferable for dogs needing a slower introduction. The park is always clean (as clean as dog parks get) and there’s plenty of “terrain” for the dogs to run and play on. There’s a water fountain with a little dog bowl attached to it near the main gate…HUGE lifesaver! Our favorite part about this park is how close it is to balboa bridge and all of the other attractions that are right across the bridge, plus it’s near multiple trail entry points. Parking is usually free along the street if you don’t go at peak times, (and I don’t recommend going when they’re doing street cleaning…follow what the signs say…they WILL give you a ticket!) Overall 10/10 from my pup and I

Nates Point Dog Park is a great place to bring your furry kids to come and stretch out their legs and to socialize with other doggies. I’ve been coming here for years now and it’s a wide and long area for them to play and fetch the ball, it’s never to crowded and they have doggy bags for when your furry kids do their business. It has some great views of the bridge, the museum of us and it’s it’s located conveniently by the freeways. There’s always plenty of parking close by, they have water fountains for you and your furry kids. It’s mainly all dirt with plenty of trees scattered around the park. They have one picnic table but I wouldn’t recommend eating your meals on it , it tends to smell like urine around the entrance of the park but that’s expected at dog parks. It would be nice if they added more seating or a dog playground. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. The Haunted Trails is located close by in October.

About 5ft is not a big fence but there is a lot of place for her to run and other dogs to play with I don't think she will want to run away from dog's Disneyland :)
