I have never encountered a more corrupt and extortion-based energy supplier! I have lived in eight different cities in my life (including Los Angeles, NYC, Portland et al). The utility rates are on average 10 cents more per hour than any other city that I have lived, that difference adds up quickly. I live in a 700sf studio and hardly use my electricity (compared to say NYC or Portland where I averaged 150-250 more kilowatt hours per month) and yet I am averaging $150/mo rates and I am even on the income assistance program for those making under $70k. What is going on here? This is cruel and unnerving that a city can let an energy company abuse its citizens so severely!

After speaking to 6 people over the phone and visiting 3 physical locations in the past few days, Stephanie was the only one who could really resolve the issue with setting up my new account and not just forward me to someone else like everyone before her did. 1 star to SDG&E and 5 stars to Stephanie👍🏻
