A large party of my friends and family traveled 45 minutes to visit this winery today for a very special occasion, which meant a lot to us. We spent quite a bit on wine and food. More than a few hundred dollars. When we ordered food we were told we could split it up at the end and ordered all together; we were told our food would be brought out to us and several of us proceeded to have a wine tasting. After the tasting we bought several bottles of wine and went outside to our table to enjoy. It was very sunny outside with no shade, and we asked if they could put one of their umbrellas up. They said they would send someone out to put it up, but never did. Being a large party we went back in to get more wine and we were told very rudely that our food bill had to be immediately paid. We had gone in with a gift card and didn’t have enough on the card, being told we could split at the end we didn’t think about it. They demanded payment and one of our party paid for it all on their card since it was made clear we couldn’t leave the bar without paying for all the food. Others in our party who ordered food were still outside. The service was very confusing and made us feel like we were not going to pay our bill. They made us feel as if it was our fault that we hadn’t paid our food bill during the wine tasting, although it was never communicated that we should do that. Over all it left a very bad taste in our mouth. Making us feel unwelcome. We spent a good bit of money there and weren’t treated with much respect from senior members of the staff. I was disappointed.

Breathtaking views, quality wine and friendly staff -- everything you'd look for in a VA winery. There's a wine here for everyone, as they do a lot of different styles, from dry to sweet, red to white. Also really enjoyed a great conversation with one of their winemakers, and learned a lot from it. Stop in for a glass (or bottle) on a nice day!

Lovely little spot. We only got to spend an hour here before they closed for a private event. We'll come earlier next time!

Spectacular view from every window in the massive tall, newly renovated clubhouse. The staff were very kind and informative. We enjoyed our visit. It’s beautifully situated on rolling hills with panoramic views. Four stars because they …

Yes it is. We recently had a get together for Father's day with about 8 kids playing around. Are range was 3-10.
No.. they are pretty accomodating. If you have a group of that size i suggest you go on Sunday early afternoon. Won't be as crowded as say a Saturday.
