For better or worse someone else's experience may vary...in town for family/friend get together and the winery was less than a mile up the road. The first thing noticed was the beautiful view of the vineyards and hills. Inside was open and comfortable with 2 bars available for serving/sampling/buying wines. There were also some sweets and chocolate vendors. I spoke with David who assisted me with purchasing two bottles. He was nice enough to allow me to sample and gave good tasting notes and pairing suggestions. There were a couple of private parties along with other regular patrons enjoying the winery. Cigars are available for purchase. Not the most complicated selection but if you smoke regularly and don't have anything with you it's good enough to enjoy for the moment. $20-40 price range per bottle of wine.

This place is great and the staff is amazing. I celebrated a friends birthday here this past December. To reserve a space for our party, I put down a $500 deposit, all of which can be applied to consumables once you arrive. It is essentially like having a spend minimum. Whatever you don’t use, you can use to purchase bottles or growlers to take home. There are many benefits to coming here, as opposed to some of the other nearby wineries, which is why I chose Barrel Oak. They had a ton of different seating options. There are tables, couches, igloos, places to stand inside and outside, and a bar area. There are many options for wine and tap beers. There were also food trucks stationed outside. In addition to everything else, they are dog friendly inside and outside. The staff made sure my friend had an amazing birthday and we were well taken care of. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend checking it out.

My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed our visit. The pizza and oysters were delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. There were plenty of tables and the umbrellas gave shade from the sun. I loved seeing all of the children and dogs playing and having a good time as well.

A great place for weekend picnic. Bring your own food or order from their kitchen. They have a lot of tables outside and there’s seating inside the restaurant as well. Good views and live music. Their IPA was very good.

I have some of those same glasses but I don't think they have them anymore.
I think they e welcome anytime anywhere.
Yes, you can bring your own food and soft beverages. State law prohibits bringing outside alcoholic beverages. Now that BOW serves wine and beer to go with any food pairing, you're all set. If you, prefer, you can also purchase food from weekend vendors or snack type food. Love BOW.
They werent doing the onsite wood fire pizza. But you can order from Anthony's and they deliver
Party bus's always come especially on the weekends. Wine drinkers, bachelor and bachelorette parties always go out
Yes, though most of the outside is on a hill. A vehicle can pull up to the main entrance and is flat through tasting room to outdoor patio.
Yes, check their website for this info.
Anything special on the 4t ?
Absolutely. There's a ton of outdoor space. There was an extremely popular dirt mound, but that may have been removed recently.
Groups are welcome. Outside seating is 1st come 1st served. You might be a le to reserve inside tables, though.
The only sweet offering at this time is a "dessert wine" called Chocolate Lab. To me, it's a little like a port with a hint of chocolate. It also adds amazing flavor to a chocolate cake.
Nope
