Linda and her team at Ticor were amazing to work with. This was a very difficult transaction and they helped solve issues that most Escrow companies would have just thrown their hands up and let someone else deal with. Their communication was excellent and I look forward to working with them in the future. I highly recommend them looking for a top notch Escrow and title company.

I cannot say enough about Linda Villa and her amazing team. They are not only extremely professional, responsive, capable and knowledgeable, they are friendly and incredibly easy to work with. They are a cut above the rest and I would recommend them to anyone. I just had a transaction for close family members and knew I could count on them to do a stellar job, which of course they did. I look forward to many more transactions with Linda and her team!

Jen and Mayra from Ticor are amazing. I'm a Real Estate Agent and having a reliable escrow company is imperative for my business. These ladies make me look great and my customers have been very happy. I've used this company for several transactions and their customer service, attitude, communication skills, ability to solve problems has been/still is great and very consistent. Thank you ladies for all your help and look forward to keep working together, you really stand out with the kind of work you do!!

As a title representative in the industry I work with several escrow companies throughout the county. My personal experience working with the escrow officers at the Ticor Title Escrow office on Fleet Street, Carlsbad has been amazing. The ladies are always accommodating, take pride in their profession & clearly love what they do.

How do I pick the best Title Insurance Provider?

As you work with your real estate agent or lender, consider these three things when looking for a title insurance company: experience, reputation and reliability. Every state is different. So, the company you choose should have solid partnerships with local businesses, representatives with significant experience in your community, and expert knowledge of your local laws. You also want a title company with a good reputation for solving complex problems, mediating difficult circumstances, and dealing with any situation that may come up. Choose a representative who is backed by decades of reliability with the financial stability to be around for many years to come.

What happens at Closing, and how long does it take?

The Closing process varies, depending on your location. But the general process starts with a buyer and seller agreeing on the terms of sale, and ends 4-8 weeks later at Closing. In between, work takes place to ensure the terms of sale are met. At Closing, the Escrow Officer confirms the terms of sale are met, ensures the funds are distributed, the deed is recorded and the keys are delivered.

Did you know title problems are discovered in more than a third of residential real estate transactions? Over the years, things like liens, easements and subdivision cause confusion over who has the rights to their property. But when you have an owner's title insurance policy, these issues are known or resolved before signing on the dotted line, giving you peace of mind that you're protected for as long as you own the property. As part of the nation's largest family of title insurance underwriters, we've got you covered.
