It’s a relatively easy hike, unless you go down to the river side. That does have a little bit of a steep trail but I would highly recommend it. I have a number of health conditions like fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis, and I was still able to make the trek easily. It’s definitely worth your time.

Love this park. Have been visiting it for 30 years and it is always a treat. The river is beautiful and the small parking area limits the number of people in the park to keep it peaceful.

A truly beautiful place with quite a few trails that vary in difficulty, including one mostly flat dirt trail. Look out for the poison ivy, which is thankfully very easy to spot (massive vines!) and not on the trail pathway, but on the trees off the trail.

Beautiful easy hike though a bit of slippery spots on the rainy day I visited. The path is clearly heavily trafficked but was not so on my weekday visit. Beautiful flora and visits from many fauna! Lovely, large mulberry at the parking area and some interesting historical spots as well.

Yes county dog rules apply. And "plain clothes" officers "may be patrolling and issueing citations if warranted." Actual wording on the sign.
