Very nice, quite park. If you walk down to the water, walk to the right about 100 feet and there is a sandy beach good for a small picnic

Nice walk, beautiful scenery and quiet location. Great for a romantic hike.

This place is amazing for winter camping, that is, if you hate other people. The park is almost always empty. In the summer, however, it offers a small boat ramp into the Patomac river for kayaks and canoes.

The key boundary is the Potomac River. The park is not large and basically hugs the shoreline.
