Several species of butterflies. I have found the gardens of various descriptions and specialties to be exceptionally well maintained. Several places to sit down and relax. I also found many species in the demonstration garden and the shared plot garden. No huge crowds. Very few people on most days. Respectful staff. Cant go wrong here.

Good park. Great green for all types of activities. The playground is great for the little kids. There are a lot of trees for shade and coverage of it starts to rain. The pavilion is good sized, good enough for fifty people to squeeze under if the weather starts to get ugly. Good park!

Yes.
Today there is a flower festival....so parking may be difficult.
5:50 to get into idle. It's the whole place you are paying for and it's worth it.
At the park outside they are, but Leesburg leash laws apply, and you must clean up after them.

I believe it's $5, or you can buy a monthly/annual pass. I'm sure the information is on their website.
"...was named in memory of Mr. Rust’s grandmother, Ida Lee, to preserve an important historic link between the Lee Family of Virginia, and the Town of Leesburg. Ida Lee Rust was the daughter of Edmund Jennings Lee, first cousin of Robert E. Lee. Ida Lee spent her married life at "Rockland"; the Rust family home located near Leesburg, and in her later years lived in a house built by her sons at 113 East Cornwall Street in Leesburg. Ida Lee Park stands for the memory of Mr. Rust's grandmother, the continuation of the Lee family name, which played a key role in Leesburg's history, and Mr. Rust's sentiment that Leesburg should remain a "personal" town." Yes. You need to pay to reserve it. Check the website for rates.
Economics necessitates revenue for services rendered.
Depends on if you're a Town of Leesburg resident. I am not a resident so I paid about $7. Residnets will pay less per day.
