We stayed at the campsite for one night and I felt very comfortable. The sanitary facilities are super clean, the cleanest on our whole USA trip. The owners are very friendly, I would stay here again and again. Of course it is noisy next to the motorway, but that is mentioned on the website. The beach is within walking distance and the centre is not far away.

Sunrise is great at what it is: a convenient, clean, friendly park on the path between places. Minutes from downtown SB, Sunrise is on the freeway (self explanatory pros and cons), narrow parcel, but well organized. The manager makes all the difference! Greeted us. Guided our back in as the turns are tight to back in, helped with oncoming traffic, and provided walking directions to the convenience store and Uber pick up back to downtown with $10 fare. I was concerned about crime as I drove off the freeway, but once inside the park my concerns left (I am not leaving bikes outside, but don't anywhere). Happy Traveling!

Good for a night bathrooms are clean. Little close to the freeway for me. Like the other side of the wall. But it worked out in a pinch were going to a show here in Santa Barbara 11 minutes away its gonn be fine. Full hook up sites. Thank you very much

This campground was extremely nice. It was pretty small, but it had everything needed. The bathrooms were in top shape and I loved the set up of them. Also the best part about the bathrooms is their water was HOT! The staff was super friendly. It was only about a 5 minute drive to the beach parking which we opted to drive, and close to downtown Santa Barbara. It was a quiet, lovely camp spot. I definitely recommend this park.

How far is it from the beach?

Silvia Sanchez | Sep 4, 2018
Santa Barbara Sunrise RV Park | Sep 4, 2018

We are just across the freeway from the beach, but you cannot cross the freeway here. You have to walk or bike about 3/4 mile to the next underpass and from there it's about 1/2 mile to the beach. The first 3/4 mile is kind of boring, between the freeway and a golf course, but after you go under the freeway, there is a big, wide beautiful bike and pedestrian pathway along the bird refuge until you reach the actual beach. I apologize that I am replying in English. I don't speak Spanish, but hopefully you can use Google Translate for this. Thanks for your question, and let us know if we can do anything to be of further service.
