New India Bazaar is a great, small grocery store. It specialises in South Asian products, but also has a sizable selection of Middle Eastern products and fresh produce. I have shopped here occasionally for years. I have always been pleased by the selection, and the family that runs the store is friendly. It is annoying that the products are not labelled with the prices, but that is forgivable, since my bill is always less than I expect when I check out. Very affordable!

If I could, I would give this disgusting, dirty, and awful place a rating of ZERO. They sold me expired cheese and when I went back to show the rude guy that he is selling expired cheese, I asked for a fresh pack of cheese in exchange, and he scolded me, saying "We don't do that here..." Not only that, there was unwrapped sliced melons that attracted fruit flies onto the fruit. That is so unsanitary. This store needs a health inspection ASAP, hopefully the owners will learn their lesson.

Found what I needed but when I came home and checked my receipt they charged me for an extra item; I left to go grab something while they were ringing up the items, so I did not catch it at the time. What made me even check my receipt was because I heard someone come back and say they were charged for an extra item. I see other people have noticed this too from the reviews! You have lost my business. I hope the $1.50 was worth it.
