Number One

Wow. This WD is 1 of 3 nearby me. It is the newest and until tonight I thought best of them. I walked into the store and could find no baskets. I asked the person monitoring the self check out and was answered in a very short, abrupt, and rude tone with matching face, "baskets are no longer used here" and dismissed. I have used the smaller carts there before but didn't see any nearby. I went outside and both the cart holding pens were full of carts. A few were in the left pen as viewed from the store but we're buried. I pulled a full sized cart only to have some kind of slime be felt on the handle causing me to lose my grip. I wiped my hand on my shorts as there was nowhere else. I pulled another cart after looking at it for anything on the handle and re-entered the store. I could find no wipes. Only hand sanitizer. Got what I came for and went thru regular check out. Just as I was putting the last bags in my cart, a young woman began to tell at the man that spoke to me rudely - by name. He and she traded words and she got louder. None of the store staff flinched an eye like it was business as usual. The yelling continued as I left the store saying to my brother, "why all 3 WD got to be so ghetto"?

The deli and hot food area is ran by a bunch of SET IN THEY'RE WAYS HAITIANS!!! They're EXTREMELY RUDE & UNATTENTIVE!! They don't even have the decency to say I or someone will be right with you while you just stand in either of the meat or food cases waiting to order. And no they're not tending to other customers. You can be the only soul standing there. This happened to me on 2 separate occasion, months apart. On the most recent visit my husband was hungry and experienced it himself first hand. All I said was "told ya so" because I told him about my last experience with those rude Haitian women there. He WANTED green beans with his baked chicken until we saw the rude lady placing food on top of food. She came and moved this pan of some green veggie twice. First on top of the green beans he wanted with no covering, then to another spot as she moved food around for 5 more minutes while we waited without a simple greeting. Look at the pics. Wonder if they're required to have SafeServ certifications because this is by far unacceptable!!!

Good supermarket for purchasing foodstuff. Not that wide choice as I expected and especially bread. Cash desks are stunning from time to time and it's making going through cashdesk slow. Not overloaded. Enough space for parking.

Located in the Victoria Park Shoppes, this Winn-Dixie is smaller than the one I mostly frequent. As soon as you enter, there's a table displaying bakery items, then you're walking through the bakery and produce section. The supermarket is clean with organized aisles, and it was pretty crowded with a few employees stocking items on the shelf. While social distancing myself from other shoppers, I had to walk each aisle to locate the items I wanted. Shoppers are required to wear their masks to ensure a safe shopping experience. Hand sanitizer is provided. Make sure to have your rewards card handy to receive the sales prices and to earn points which can later be used for extra savings. If you have the Winn-Dixie app on your phone, you can get savings by downloading digital coupons onto your rewards card.The Winn-Dixie liquor store is located next door.
