Beautiful, scenic park right by the intracoastal. Playground with swings available for the little ones. There is a clubhouse for rental for events such as baby showers and birthdays. Take a stroll and view yachts as they pass by or have a picnic at one of the tables.

Excellent park. Did yoga at the amphitheater this morning. Great session. Possibly the best ever.

I found Veterans Park in the heart of Delray Beach quite picturesque on a sunny spring day. Since I saw it last ten years ago, I can see improvements. I like the walk-through arbor and the mosaic tiled fountain. The veterans memorial remains modest. It was at this spot we took a yacht cruise of the Intercoastal Waterway a decade ago. They continue offering the fascinating trip. It's also the site of the historic Atlantic Avenue crossing of the canal which led to the development of Delray Beach.
