Wonderful idea but the price for your four-legged friend is expensive. EACH dog is $11 plus $25 to park in parking lot! Two dogs cost almost $50 a day!! 😥 (A seasonal pass is available and good until September- if Boca resident - cost is $167 and still $25 to park in lot) Limited $3 metered parking available on street. Very limited Hours: early mornings 7-9am and then 5pm until dusk **weekends only**😞😞

Beach is great. Clean and most people are very friendly. I wish they open it for more hours and more frequently. Kind of a waste to see that beach so empty before the dogs hours.

Yes. Just the weekend it's purchased on. However, the cost can be applied to a yearly pass when purchased of you keep the receipt.

The permit is if you want to have your dogs at the beach here. No permit needed for people.
Yes, if you go to the beach. There is a park ranger by the boardwalk entrance. If you avoid that entrance and walk through the path on the vegetation you avoid being asked for a permit :)
Weekend permits are available at the gatehouse at the entrance of Spanish River Park.

Yes u can do either . I let my dog have a bit of "leash free" time when we first get there, the the rest of the time I put him in a leash so I can sit and relax and read a book 😁
Wish it was all day hours are a bit restrictive ....still grateful all the dogs can gather and play other than a dog park!
Yes it's a great place for dogs to run free with other dogs on the beach. Or even swim in the ocean.
