Dog Park at Oakridge Park

I like the park. Only thing I don't like is the one setting for all size dogs. Should be two. One for small and one for big.

Went there for our first and only time. Within the first 5 minutes of arriving there were four to five large pack mentality adult dogs trying to show my dog who was boss and she's just a 6 month old puppy. They would put their paws on her and just flatten her, or not give her any space to move at all and just surround her. She was cowering so I went over and told the dogs "out" but they wouldn't listen. Their owners sat less than 5 ft away from me and did nothing to control their dogs knowing and seeing that my dog was in distress. So I picked her up and we walked out of the park. I wanted to report them but I didn't know who to call. I guess they know they have the park all to themselves and want to keep it that way.

Locals with big pack mentality driven dogs every single day in the afternoons. No chance of bringing smaller dogs in because they get immediately ambushed. The park itself is nice, but the dog park is really just for this big dog gang.

You can bring your dog on leash around the walking paths or off leash in the gated area. I fish here sometimes and it can be hit or miss, but I’ve usually gotten smaller bass and no big ones.
