They are a little pricey but always have good quality stuff. Employees aren't very friendly but not rude.

Very very limited stock and choices, staff doesnt seem to know much about scale models. I could be wrong but this is my impression. They dont seem to be interested about trying to find and aquiring certain model brands for customers. This place makes you wish we still had Joe's modesto hobby and craft.
As for the best model shop in town? Is there another? HL and Walmart sell models but arent model shops.

Good service and friendly. Good selection of hobbies and model paint. Model kits, rc equipment and hobby trains all have lots of options.
We do have access to some drone parts. And can repair.

The hobbywing 1080 says that it works with 2s or 3s batteries. Does that mean it works with either a 7.4v or 11.1v battery or do I need to find a 3s 7.4v battery?

No it will work with a 11.1 but I don't recommend it with that setup, I'd run a 2s or upgrade to the fusion and run 3s
