Bring people you love, the littler people the better. You'll have happy memories to fuel a sad existence or happy times to reminisce upon. The difference is in who you keep around.

This is a very fun splash pad especially for toddlers aged 2-5 yrs. Has three water guns, a huge tipping bucket, a smaller tipping bucket, and multiple varied fountains. The "play" button on the center drain grate turns on the pump (needs tapped with a foot every five minutes or so). Free to the public. The water is pretty cold but it's very nice at ambient temps above 85 degrees F. Seems like it runs on a constant flow of fresh clean city water. 10am-8pm IIRC are the hours.

We had a group of about 50 for a reunion. The kids all enjoyed the park and splash pad water play area, along with some of us adults. Everything was nice and clean with lots of play equipment to run around on.

Really refreshing to stop and play in the water on our walk. Our son wasn't the biggest fan (yet), but he's only 1 and has only played in pools.
