We were aware of the restricted days/hours. Arrived at 12:45 on the Wed of the week previous to July 4th with 92° temps. The line was shorter, but was a quickly moving line. Bath house was appropriately clean. They allowed us to bring in water bottles and chairs, not supposed to bring food. Nonswimmers had to pay the full price, still a bargain in our book. There were a lot of swimmers, but the large water features handled the crowd well. There were a goodly number of shaded areas, but they were quite full with limited chairs. The snack line was always long. The area was well taken care of by attentive staff. Our for grandchildren (ages 8-15) had a great time for the nearly three hours we were there. I would avoid the days adjacent to weekends, but we'd come back.

Frustrated that after an hour drive with son and friends for his birthday that the water park was found closed. They would do well to provide online commentary that the park has limited availability.

Website and phone recording not up to date. Charged $8 to enter the state park only to find the pool was closed because they changed their hours for the entire summer and did not update the website or recording. We called ahead and hours were listed as 12-8. The pool closes at 5. Very disappointing to drive from Colorado only to drive away with 4 crying kids.

Water park is great. Entrance process needs revamped & sped up. Nobody want to stand in line an hour in the sun while to get in. Need an option to prepurchase tickets online/app & scan people quickly. Also need more “info” online as for details
