I was driving downtown Saturday night, June 25, 2022. One of your officers was tailgating me because he wasn't paying attention. I have also seen other officers make turns without using turning signals. If you could teach your officers to drive safer, it sure would be appreciated. If you expect the public to follow the rules while driving, would be nice if you guys could lead by example. Also, might want to think of starting some kind of a weight loss program for Omaha officers. It's getting embarrassing looking at these people when one has friends visiting from out of town. You are supposed to be serving and protecting us but it doesn’t even look like most of these officers can walk across a street without running out of air. You have a lot of very bad Google reviews. 63 reviews total at the time of me righting this and you have replied to only two of them. A perfect example of no respect at all for the citizens, just unionize then over bill the city and take them for everything they have. Finally, the bad haircuts. Police officers are not in the military, so lose the military haircuts. Being in the military would involve actual work.

Always protecting our city and fighting crime. I’ve never met an OPD officer, Sheriff, or State Trooper who wasn’t professional and honest. Even if I was grumpy, wrong, or argumentative. For all that they go through on a daily basis, for all the drama, for all the risks, my hat is off to them! They deserve nothing short of complete respect and backing from society.

You guys need to start doing a better job at these concerts! You let way too much traffic go at a time for the concert people and not enough for the regular people! I work at a hotel trying to pock up people for 3 hotels I work for! You make my job way to hard! I waited 20 min at a stop light!

When you are flying a sign to get a little help because no agency in the city of Omaha will help you and you are homeless living in your car with your wife, son, daughter and daughter's therapy cat... Then an Omaha Police Officer in uniform, but in his civilian vehicle sits at the light, reads your sign, laughs at you and then proceeds to flip you off, give you the middle finger.. Omaha's finest wearing a badge right there! I grew up here my whole life... And this, today took the damn cake. I am ashamed of my home. Thank you whichever officer you are. You make me feel protected and safe and I question... were your fingers crossed behind your back when you repeated and said your oath? May you have the life you deserve sir. And now I shall sit and wait to see exactly how long it will take for us to start being harassed because I used my first amendment and wrote this review.

Hello Mr. Cunningham, We take traffic enforcement very seriously around our city. Do you have a more specific area of complaint? We can pass the information to our Traffic Unit to address. Thank you!

Best starting point is to either contact by phone or email at https://police.cityofomaha.org/contact-us though I'm not sure they do many tours of central headquarters
