Usage doubled out of nowhere randomly one month, customer service refused to help, offered me a paid service to come check for leaks. There are no leaks, usage returned to normal the next month.

Absolutely horrible customer service. They disconnect people just to charge an additional $60! That’s almost as much as my actual bill! They’re just trying to get over on people and steal their money! Horrible

I always see the low rating when I pay my bill and can’t help but raise an eyebrow. You don’t get many options on water providers but regardless ONWASA has been solid for me at multiple addresses. I think a lot of people get mad at late fees on top of past due amounts. Not my fight… But yeah, for me it’s been nothing but clean (not the best but drinkable) tap water for $20 a month. Can’t beat it.

This is absolutely highway robbery. These people are absolutely the worst. Thievery, riffraff, if there were any other companies that offered service here I would definitely leave. But, since there are any other water and sewer companies in the area these people continue to steal from elderly and disabled people who do the best they can to get by. If I could leave zero stars I would. This company has the worst reviews I have ever read about anyone. Do the people that work at the company not read these reviews and try to improve? Obviously not

Been there ...I completely understand. They did mine during an actual party have me no time to pay didn't even wait... very embarrassing. Had to wait three hours for him to come back when I paid it less than five minutes later😡😡😡😡
I live in piney green too and i noticed low pressure too
Thank you for your question. Currently, the only personnel permitted to drive ONWASA trucks home are the "on-call" crew for Distribution, the "on-call" crew for Collections/Sewer division, each supervisor for those two divisions, and two service technicians. These employees are considered "on-call" nights and weekends and rotate. The two supervisors are on call 24/7 and do not rotate. These employees respond to calls no matter what the time of night is. They are permitted to take a vehicle to be able to respond quickly to a location that may be in need of repairs which could affect services to customers. Permitting other personnel to drive an ONWASA vehicle home after working hours, when not on call, was discontinued years ago to cut on costs to ONWASA.
Thats weird, usually a sulfur smell is associated with a untreated well. I would call onwasa and report it, that should be able to provide you with a analysis. If all else fails get a carbon filter. It should take care of the problem, but the media will have to be changed from time to time
I don't know about onslow but here we go to the office with mail in their name and address. They will have to pay a deposit to get it in their name. Explain to the office that this is a rental.
Call and get your account number
Yes. We have used the same setup for decades. As long as the property is in your name.
Please call the Swansboro Town Hall on Monday for a bin as they service you for trash; ONWASA only bills for them.
It is a $100 per service without a previous good history with ONWASA, or a letter stating one year of good history elsewhere.
