This post is not so much about the Post Office but its about the Post Master Jamie Thompson. I think a person in that position should maintain his professionalism as much as possible. I submitted a waiver for mail delivery and when he called me he mentioned it was up to someone else to approve it when it wasn't, it was up to him. He DISAPPROVED it and never called me back like he originally said he would. I proceeded to call numerous times and spoke to multiple supervisors who all said they would relay the message to him and I'm yet to receive a call. His lack of professionalism is a directly reflect of that post office and I'm not surprised that they have such a bad review average on here.

Post office refuses to deliver my dog food from amazon and the lady leaves a pink slip in my mail boxes that says "Heavy" and "please pick up at post office"?? its a 47 lb bag of dog food and the contracts with USPS say they deliver up to 75 lbs. I left a nice note back in the mailbox stating to please knock on our door and we will come out and carry it ourselves and that we paid to have it delivered to our home and our puppies need their food! she wrote me back and said my package wasn't singled out and that she did not even have it in the car with her and it is WAY over the weight limit which is not true at all! I have had this same bag of dog food delivered many times and this is the first time this has happened. How is this even allowed??? I had to call amazon and have them resend it because when I call USPS they are no help! or I do not even get an answer. I even posted on my neighborhood facebook page and I got 6 responses of other people saying this happens all of the time. People should not be allowed to work as a delivery driver if they cannot lift a package less than 75 lbs!

One of the workers there was very condescending about me showing up with an open box and had me tape it before I was ready to ship it out. Horrible service, very rude people. I’ll stop buy again sometime to get his name because a lot of his comments were super unnecessary. I have never gotten this stressed out mailing a package before

If you don't live on the first floor or stay in an apartment complex, you can hang up getting dependable package delivery. If it doesn't fit in the mailbox they will not attempt to deliver it. Then say no one came to the door (without even going to your door) or "there's no secure place to leave it" even if you've had many packages delivered to that exact location in the past. If you attempt to get it redelivered, they will scan it to say it's being delivered and out on the road but it has never actually left the post office and you will have to pick it up. After 4:30pm you can forget them answering the phone as well. I shouldn't have to get packages sent to a loved one's house because I know in advanced the postman will be too lazy to climb a set of stairs.
