Very crowded parking lot mid-day due to AA meetings. Poor drivers blocking others who are trying to get thru. I drive a small little Special ED bus, and have to drop off a child there around 12:20pm. I could not believe how many people were blocking me, wedging me in, and preventing me from moving purposely! (As they were "jockey'ing" for parking stalls that were few & fa between). This place is on a busy highway, so it's unsafe to drop this child on the side of the road, so it IS necessary that I pull into the parking lot. (He lives there). The inconsideration from other drivers is shocking. (BTW - it is illegal to block a school bus from being able to move). Serious safety issue.

You guys make Catholics seem horrible and rude and mean. I don't know why this store is so unfriendly. This is the only thrift store in town treating customers badly. Then the prices themselves make you look greedy. You really need to change your ways. You represent bad fruit. I think if you try really hard to love your neighbors; you can... “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits”

went to location to donate a truck load of clothes and household goods. Was told by employee "Chris" to take my donations elsewhere as they have too much at this time. TOO MUCH DONATIONS? Isn't that the business they are in? Took my truck load plus a check to Salvation Army instead.

Many things are very overpriced, some good deals. They tend to hire very rude people but the cashiers are usually friendly. Drug addicts everywhere so lock your doors. I also wish they would stop handing out services because its drawing homeless in instead of helping locals. You will often see people drugged out on the sidewalk, and herds of bicycles roaming the nearby blocks leaving garbage and needles everywhere.

The Set Free Christan Fellowship at 1032 W Main St, Medford, OR 97501(2.6 mi from St. Vincent de Paul a) has a place where homeless people can do laundry for free. I'm sorry I don't know the details of days or times. Hope that helps you.
They are reopened on 3 days a week
If they have any money for that available at the time. You'll have to check on that to get their current availability on rent funds. When funds are available they do have certain other requirements that need to apply including verification for certain things. Again, check with them to find out what you'll need to bring with you. Also, you'll want to be sure you go to the St. Vincent de Paul that serves the area you live in. For instance, the Medford office does not serve Talent. They are open 10:00AM -2:00PM Monday thru Friday. Good luck!
The free backpacks for homeless and needy ppl happens in the winter. Not sure of the exact start date.
Only, clean and gently used items are best appropriated with health code needs ... Thank you and God bless ...
