Went in for a sore throat and was told to wait out back. The wait time was 2 hrs which was fine so I waited until they called me to go out back. Went out back and called them to know I was there, I was told a doctor would come out in 5 minutes. 2 hours and 30 minutes go by and nobody came to help me. I called them again and asked if someone was coming to help, again said 5 minutes. I waited 30 more minutes then decided to leave. It made me very sad that I couldn’t get my sore throat checked and was lied to

By far the worst urgent care I’ve ever dealt with. The website asked me to reserve a time slot, which I did for 4:30pm. An hour before I was due to be there, they called to say there was no point in coming as the wait time was over 4 hours. They asked what the issue was and I told them it was a suspected broken finger - and their response was along the lines of, “oh well, we don’t have an x-ray technician working today anyway.” I recommend you avoid Doctors on Duty at all costs, and travel the extra distance to Los Gatos or Campbell to get some actual care and expertise.

Good Morning, it is dependent on the type of testing needed. We have rapid antigen tests available that provide results in 20 minutes. We also have PCR tests that get sent to the lab for processing. Turn around time on the PCR results are dependent on current lab volumes, and can take anywhere from 48 hours to 5 days. I would recommend checking in closer to your travel date to determine what the current turn around time from the lab is.
Yes, we do collect PCR specimens. You can schedule your visit at https://mychart.svmh.com/dod/openscheduling or if it is just for travel and you are asymptomatic you can do a walk in visit. You can reserve your walk in time at https://doctorsonduty.com/locations/. The current turn around time on results from the lab is 48-72 hours but that is dependent on current volume.
We take a deposit of $ 200 at the time of the visit. The total price will vary depending on the services provided. Call our clinic for additional information.

We are able to draw basic blood work at the clinic. If there is specific tests you need, we can send you to the lab or give you a referral to an allergy specialist. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the clinic directly.
If we are billing your insurance, all that is due at the time of service is your co-pay. For self-pay patients, we do ask for at least a deposit at the time of service but are always happy to set up payment plans with our corporate office, if needed.
