My son car was hit by a tire on freeway which badly damaged his car. Few days later, AAA sent Fortes taking this non operating car to the shop. My son was telecommuting and in a meeting so he gave me his drivers license and membership card. Fortes driver arrived and insisted he needed my membership card and driver’s license. Few words exchanged and I went in and got my membership and driver’s license within 30 seconds. The driver was on the phone making me waiting. After he is done with his call, he told me he is leaving and will not tow my son’s car to the shop. I asked what his name was and he refused and drove off! This is one of the towing company that knows you call them when you are in a jam. Therefore, if they don’t like something, they will get an upper hand by leaving you cold . Some of the towing company knows full well you are in a vulnerable situation which they can do some abuse or retaliation and not treat you as most other business need to treat their customers to make money . The supervisor Carlos is not any better. He is the one who supported the driver to leave. Be careful when you deal with this company. I already see a few bad reviews on Google. This company clearly has a culture of abusing customers when they are in a vulnerable towing situation.

My aunt used AAA. It was Fortes Bros Inc that was dispatched. The technician was nice and determined she needed a battery. 2/12/22. She looked at her statement that came in today and realized they charged 170.00 for a battery. She called the business and we did not get the young ladies name that answered but she said the charge was for the battery and installation. The installation has always been covered by AAA. ( We have had several batteries installed by AAA over the years.) When my aunt told her this she hung up on us. Overcharged and unhappy. Would not recommend them based on this experience and will not let AAA dispatch them again for services.

It took about 90 minutes from the time I called AAA until Fortes driver showed up. I trusted he knew what he was doing, but he didn't. He jumped the batttery, and said to let the car idle to recharge battery. He left, I drove car about one block., lost power and engine stalled. We had to call AAA again and waited another 45 minutes to get car towed. Very poor service from AAA and Fortes.

You cannot lie to customers who are in distress after a roadside emergency while you have the AAA badge in your truck. I understand COVID new regulations do not allow passengers in the tow truck, but dropping my car at the dealership then leaving it unattended in after promising to wait for me to catch Uber only to get on to next tow job is going to get you one start. I took me hours running around the BMW dealershop to find where my cars was dropped. This behavior is a liability on AAA business and Fortes Bros.
