Update - 6/13/22 - came in today for a ck-up about a year after Dr. Pasquinelli put in my implant and things are feeling/looking good! Dr. P said he won't need to see me again until/if my regular dentist spots anything and suggest I go back to Dr. P to check. Everyone, from front desk to the dental assistant, are again/consistently welcoming and professional. I greatly appreciate that Dr. P took time to thoroughly check not only the implant tooth, but also the adjacent teeth, and gum areas. Although I had a cleaning with my regular dentist about 4 months ago, Dr. P saw a fair amount of stain on the teeth near my implant and gave me a terrific cleaning using a more advance machine/method that basically made all the stain disappear (I wish my regular dentist would use this method/machine)! It's great that staff also took time to go over proper brushing and flossing techniques with me for optimal cleaning and minimizing staining. I'm grateful and happy to have had Dr. P do not only my 1st implant over 20yrs ago, but my second. Update 6/14/21 - final check today by Dr. Pasquinelli after the implant crown was placed by my regular dentist last week. Dr. P said things are looking good and he'll see me again in a year to see how the gum is doing in one area. Really happy I stayed with this office for another implant, and really appreciate Dr. P's sincere care for the best possible outcome for my case. THANK YOU! Prior review below - Dr. Pasquinelli did an amazing job for my 1st implant (front tooth) about 20yrs ago and it exceeded its expected lifespan. Since then, his office has grown but the same quality of service and attention to details remain. More recently, Dr. P helped me with an implant again, and although it was a challenging case because I had insufficient bone in the area, he did all he could to ensure an outcome I've very happy with. I remember years ago when I first met Dr. P, you never saw implant commercials on TV, but now they pop up frequently and often promise amazing work at suspiciously low prices. It's my health & ability to smile with confidence, so I rather avoid the low cost leaders and go with an experienced professional who has been doing this long before it became a fad on TV. 100% recommend this dental office!

Good cleaning with state-of-the-art tech. Friendly, empathetic, and knowledgeable staff. Mild miscommunication on the treatment plan and was a bit surprised not to have at least a cursory exam after the cleaning.

Everything about this practice is excellent — from making appointments to office staff to Dr. Pasquinelli. They are all thorough, calm and considerate. I appreciate how completely Dr Pasquinelli explained conditions and how we arrived at a course of treatment. I highly recommend this practice

Great office staff, very kind and supportive. Dr. Pasquinelli is wonderful, he was highly recommended by my dentist and a variety of other oral surgeons, I highly recommend Dr. Pasquinelli and his entire staff.

On average, it takes your gums three months to heal from crown lengthening. To see if crown lengthening is right for you, book a consultation with our San Francisco dentist: https://www.sfperio.com/contact/
Crown lengthening is a procedure that removes excess gum tissue and possibly bone to expose more of the tooth. It may be done for oral health or cosmetic reasons, such as creating symmetrical gums or longer-looking teeth. Looking for crown lengthening in San Francisco? Also known as osseous surgery, this procedure is needed when gum disease has reached an advanced stage. Pocket reduction surgery removes harmful bacteria trapped between your teeth and gums, smooths and reshapes bone surface, and sutures your gums. This allows the gum tissue to reattach to healthy bone and reduce the pocket depth. Ultimately, this procedure prevents bacteria from building up again.
Also known as a sinus lift, this procedure involves moving the sinuses upward and adding bone between the sinuses and upper jaw. You may need this if there isn't enough room to place an implant. To confirm, schedule a consultation with our San Francisco periodontists: 415-781-7147
On average, a bone graft takes three months to heal. For a more accurate estimate, contact our San Francisco dentist for a consultation: https://www.sfperio.com/contact/
A dental bone graft is a procedure used to add bone density and volume to your jawbone. It's often required if you don't have sufficient bone to support a dental implant or if bone loss is affecting the health and function of nearby teeth and gums. Have questions? No. A permanent denture includes a modified denture (set of teeth) that can attach to implants along with 4 or more dental implants (the post that's surgically placed within your jawbone). A dental implant may be used to secure a dental crown or bridge too. Interested in permanent dentures in San Francisco? Contact SF Perio & Implants: 415-781-7147

On average, getting a dental implant takes three to nine months. This includes removing the existing tooth (if needed), surgically placing the implant, allowing the bone to heal and fuse with the implant, and creating and placing the implant restoration (crown, bridge, or denture). No, getting a dental implant isn't painful. We'll numb the area around the surgical site with a local anesthetic to prevent pain. If needed, dental sedation may be added to help you feel at ease and relax. Have more questions? Call us at 415-781-7147 or visit our website: https://www.sfperio.com/contact/
