THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE WORST BUS SYSTEMS IN THE WORLD. IT NEVER SHOWS UP AND THE DRIVERS ARE SO RUDE.

No customer service in Oakland by phone. Their call center is in Iowa, and has no info about how to pay bus fares by cell phone. They say they have no managers or supervisors. The process to learn how to do this is anything but smooth, and since much of your ridership are elderly and low-income people, I doubt they'll ever be able to navigate this. You have to download their app and a second app, which has no human representatives by phone. If you are new to this and have a lot of questions, going back and forth by email is inefficient.

ALL LIVES MATTER Rude and arrogant bus drivers who threaten to kick elderly off the bus for having their mask below their noses. I've been passed up 3 times in one week. It should never happen! Bus is supposed to show up at 5:45 but no, it arrives at 6:20. Why? The app doesn't alert you of it because it's garbage. How they support BLM is beyond me. Bus driver i had today wasn't wearing a mask...

This system gets worse every day. Busses are always late. When they actually show up you oftentimes get to choose between the three that all showed up together because no matter how far behind the schedule they are the drivers still think its cool to take their sweet time. And by the way- Drivers are union. If they are "burnt-out" then they need to take that ish to their union meetings. That they probably don't ever go to because they don't think its worth it. Drivers get no sympathy from me. I would complain and report to ac transit directly but in order to do that I would have to call during their business hours (which should coinside with the bus schedule but it doesn't) . These organizations should not be so surprised that other companies are picking up their slack. I swear if AC transit asks for more funding its going to be a huge no from me. Y'all can't even make do with what you have. Board members are paid way too much and the rest of the system and public suffer for it. I've been sitting in the cold for an hour waiting for the bus. This system is awful. I would give negative stars if possible le.

Go to the transit booth
The customer service office is open.
$34 most. Possibly free, depending on income.
1st floor, the round entryway at 1600 Franklin St is one place to buy that in person
1600 Franklin is close on Saturday and Sunday
I always use the Trip Planner at 511.org. You can enter your starting point and destination address, and you will get a detailed transportation itinerary. It gives you Bus and BART info. You'll get multiple departure/arrival times. I find it very helpful.
No you go to customer service directly next door
AC Transit recently switched from NextBus to a different provider. There are a couple apps you can use now, I use an app called Transit. I like it more than I liked NextBus.
What about Lost and found?
