I am a current student of NHI Emeryville. I just now finishing my 1st half of school (the Eastern modality segment). I had just heard about this school for the first time when I lived in Sacrament, CA from a customer at a grocery store I was working at 5 years ago. Now I am finally a student and it has come about through much cosmic orchestration and I am very thankful that I have come here. NHI is one of the most known and reputable places to become certified as a massage therapist. So not only do I feel very well equipped to start my knew career when I finish school but I have already build community here and experienced so much personal transformation while attending here that has deeply impacted changed me for the rest of my life. I would highly recommend this school to anyone interested in a career in massage!

Since attending NHI, I Have learned more about the importance of how are muscles play a big part in how are body moves, and how we feel on a day to day emotionally drive. I know see how I can give back to my community and help those with just a simple massage. I feel more confident knowing how I can help with those in need. If I had to choose a Massage Therapy school NHI would be it, NHI has the best and one of the strongest Support channels with mentor’s instructor’s to help you as a student succeed in your goals as a massage therapist. The instructors are very knowledgeable on all subjects of Massage therapy.

Being at NHI has been a tremendous opportunity to enhance my massage therapy skills. The content and modules have allowed my knowledge of the field to grow in ways I didn’t know were possible! As a blind individual from Camden, New Jersey, I learned about this amazing hands-on learning opportunity and moved to Oakland to pursue my passion which is Massage Therapy so I could advance in the field. We all need healing and massage is a perfect way to get and stay in tuned with our bodies. I am grateful for the current connections I’ve made thus far and look forward to building new relationships and networking opportunities here at NHI. I love this school and program and would definitely recommend everyone to come check it out if you are interested!! You will most certainly love it!!

This was my first visit to the NHI’s Student massage clinic and it was a very enjoyable experience from start to finish. I like that I was able to make my appointment online. I qualified for an incredible rate for a 50-minute Shiatsu/Swedish massage. The amount I paid guarantees I will be a repeat customer. They don’t accept tips but do request detailed feedback. Well the Student Massage Clinic in Emeryville rocks!! The architecture of this building is functional and spacious with a lot of natural light. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. The massage space is reminiscent of a day spa with curtained off massage rooms draped in white with a soothing soundtrack. You are given a choice of massage table or the floor. The students are very respectful and courteous.
