This is my favorite pizzeria in the Bay area. I’ve visited here countless times when I was living in Redwood City. Now I live about 30 mins away and I continously come back to Redwood City just to eat at Vesta. This is truly a Redwood City gem. My to-go menus are honey and sausage pizza, mushroom toasts, and affogatto. Extremely friendly staff, vibrant and cozy ambience, and awesome food; what more can you ask from restaurant? Do yourself a favor and treat yourself a slice of sausage and honey pizza and thank me later ;)

Outstanding cauliflower starter. Not fried but baked and seared. Sweet and salty. Pizza was very good. Crust was soft and thin. I expected more crispy, but as it was it was very good.

Pretty good pizza, and they were pretty fast given how busy things were. It’s not the best pizza in the world, and it was definitely not the crispy kind, but maybe that’s their style. It was very good though and if you like very thin crust, then you will enjoy this place. Expect to spend $20-$26 per pizza, and ~$10 per side dish. Because it’s thin crust, the average person could probably finish an entire pizza by themselves, perhaps saving one or two pieces to bring home. But if you’re hungry, don’t split one pizza between two people 😀

Sausage and honey pizza….. I may even make this my last meal on earth it’s that good! Pair with the ricotta toast or the burrata to start with! Heaven

Hi Kitti! Yes, we do take reservations. Please call the restaurant directly anytime Tuesday through Saturday and someone will assist you with scheduling a reservation.
No they dont have gluten free pizza. They offer small plates that are gluten free with things like polenta, carrots etc. But no GF pizza :(
Our salads are all gluten free or can be made gluten free. We have some great gluten free small plates as well, Pork Shoulder & Polenta, Grilled Carrots, etc in addition to many dishes that can be made gluten free- Mushroom Toast (substitute polenta cakes for bread), Cauliflower (no breadcrumbs). Our pizzas are not offered gluten free. Hope this helps!
They have a few seats out front and more out back. Both have heaters, lights and just overall lovely ambience. Dog friendly too.
Hi Natalka! Unfortunately, no. We do not offer half and half pizzas.
They welcome children, but the menu and atmosphere is more adult/mature. The menu is geared towards an adult palate. The most kids-friendly dish they have is the margherita pizza. I've gone with my toddler, and they were welcoming and accommodating. I love their pizzas and have enjoyed it more on a kid-free date night.
