Visited 6/4/22. Picnic area has 2 roofed pavilions, open all sides, long tables & benches for ~75 people. Each pavilion has 5 ht. adjustable BBQ grills. 2 restrooms each. Restrooms have pit toilets, NO sinks, NO running water, NO toilet flush. *****Very dangerous for unattended children, as children can fall into the pit toilets or climb into them. A pit toilet is a deep dark hole in the ground with a squatting seat. Each restroom posts a warning that anything that falls into the toilet is gone permanently! The picnic area has no water, no recycle or garbage cans. Has a metal can for used charcoal.

On the entrance off of Germantown Pike there is a cute installation called StoryWalk , it’s a story book that goes along a part of the trail. My daughter loved it!

Thought you might like a picture of what I think is winter wheat in May. Yes it's a farm. Otherwise, the usual: hike, bike, picnic, fish. Operated by the county.

Its a nice place not much crowded. I had given it 3 star for the only reason that the map they share it not proper and its confusing. The orange trail was good but we thought it's a loop but we ended up no where. Please update the maps.

The deer in question is a piebald deer. It is a genetic trait that is seen in a small percentage of deer. As posted on the entrances & bulletin boards the park is not open to visitors until sunrise. This is for your safety. Thank you for your compliance.
Indeed, including a few good places for dogs to swim in the streams. There are a few dog bag stations around the park near main entrances. Please clean up after your pet.
Yes, I believe it does. When registering your event, you should confirm with the park staff.
Yes. Same rules apply here as in any PA lake or stream
Yes, definitely! PA State law requires dogs must be leashed (connected to the collar of the dog and the other end firmly in the owner's hand). A leash is to be no longer than 6 feet. Please be aware not all park visitors are comfortable around dogs. Please bring supplies to pick up after your dog. Dog mitts, for your convenience, are strategically located around the park. Please bring enough water for you and your dog! Enjoy! https://www.montcopa.org/DocumentCenter/View/17536/PTHS-Rules-and-Regulations-2017_DC?bidId=
Field between the road and the stream between high Arch bridge and hospital bridge
Hi Bill: Sorry to say metal detectors are not permitted. This is common in most local, county, state & federal parks. All County park regulations are posted throughout the park on the bulletin boards. You may also inquire in the Park Office during working hours, M-F, 8:30-4:15 pm. Please feel free to ask any questions to the Park Rangers on duty. Please note #14 Thanks for your patronage: NFP https://www.montcopa.org/DocumentCenter/View/17536/PTHS-Rules-and-Regulations-2017_DC?bidId=
Rangers close entry gate and clear the park just prior to dusk and close the other half of the gate at dusk.
you can form many different routes on the paved trails, each loop could be 4-6+ miles
definitely not at the Farm Park! there is a gun club & range in Oaks - the Lower Providence Rod & Gun club...
