This is the shadiest dealership of east bay! Let me tell you a fun story. One of my colleagues trades in her car here (panamera 2019) for 55k, two weeks after my cousin asks me to go pick up the car that he put downpayment, so i can drive his old car back. I recognized the car but i had my doubts. I asked the sales guy, he denied. They listed car for 77k (for 22k) profit. I pressed guy a bit he said no, that is a different car blah blah, they themselves purchased it for 75k and then did repairs and etc. long story short i called my colleagues, turns out thats the same car, they scammed her as well, they they sold her a car with bad turbos, although trade in took place 2 months ago, they didn’t do proper dmv work either. Long story short stay away from these scammers.. chasing easy money by lying to people

I do not recommend this place. I don't write reviews but I wanted to share my experience. Steve, the dealer (I believe he is new) was very condescending and defensive. The car was listed for $29k, on the phone he said he can work it out $28k and when we got there he was like I never said that but he was speaker and multiple people heard him promise this. He called me later and said he couldn't do that because he isn't the owner. But not only that, the whole time in transaction I felt he was defensive about everything I was saying. We were already pre-approved from our bank and had a large downpayment, and he was just down right rude. I bought many cars but never experience someone like Steve at Northstar. Chris seem nice, I wish he was the person that helped us instead. Yeah but Steven maybe should have been hugged more when he was a child because he was not a nice person.

I had a wonderful experience with Tim and Chris. I've been through a lot of car shopping, and this dealership was by far one of the best. The team was friendly, helpful, flexible and no-pressure. I didn't end up purchasing the car I was looking at, I'm not close enough to the end of my current lease to make the numbers work, but I'll absolutely consider North State again soon. They were prompt, professional and care about their prospective clients needs.
