Proper old world pub experience in downtown San Rafael. Food is exactly what you would expect, as is the beer selection. Service is friendly though at a leisurely pub pace. The highlight is probably the outdoor tables for happy hour or a warm evening. This spot is 100% on brand if Irish pub is what you're looking for, but unremarkable otherwise.

Such good food and nice people. You can’t lose on the menu. Coming here of course I get the bangers and mash, the fish and chips, and the shepherds pie. All absolutely excellent.

This pub is a true, authentic, genuinely British gemstone of the Bay Area. Excellent, above and beyond service, proper atmosphere, great cocktails and first class fish tacos. I'll take every opportunity to come back here regularly.

Great English pub. All the comfort food you'd expect. I had the shepards pie while the little lady had the fish and chips. Perfect selection of local and english beers. Kinda dark, but it that's part of the authentic feel. Worth a stop if you are in San Rafael. Been around for as long as I can remember (80's)
