You can expect to have local 'swelling' where the toxin is for a few hours until it fully disperses into the muscle. Swelling from dermal filler can last up to 2-3 weeks. We ask that you avoid heavy exercise, saunas, facial massages, & manipulating the area for 24 hours. Bruising is always a possibility as well as infection/pain (but we do everything we can to minimize it). We have a detailed hand out about what to expect that we will provide for you - as well as answer all of your questions at the time of your consultation/appointment.
It depends on which areas you want to get treated and your unique muscle strength/function - we recommend you come in for a consultation so the providers can discuss with you their recommendations. For example; to treat the "11's" (glabella group of muscles) it can be anywhere from 15-25 units of Botox. We also offer Jeuveau and Dysport in the office as well!
We have injectors in office Monday-Thursday from 9a-4p and the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month from 9a-1p
As of March 2022 we are in network with Medicare, UnitedHealthcare PPO, and Blue Shield PPO (Not Blue Cross) We would still love to see you! We see patients for self pay and can provide a detailed receipt that you can submit for potential out of network benefits/reimbursement
