I have called 3 times to be put on hold for 20 minutes and then forwarded to a voicemail, only to never receive a call back. I then drove to the location only to have them make me wait 15 minutes to address me. My dog was having a medical emergency and they told me that they couldn't get me in for 3 weeks and that I should just put a cone on him and be patient. I took him to Sage and they provided excellent care. If I had listened to Banfield, my dog would be blind. Been trying to get a follow up visit to develop a long term care plan and get my long overdue comprehensive exam that I scheduled with them in person, only to find out they never actually scheduled my visit. I will be requesting a refund for this year's payments since they won't actually see my pet or make any future accomodations either. Go literally anywhere but here. You could probably get better help from a stranger at a dog park.

I haven’t been able to reach anyone in the office and can’t get a checkup appointment for my dog. The monthly fees for pet insurance are a waste of money.

My dog has been going to Banfield Pet hospitals all of her life, and now that's going to change. Over the past seven months at this particular location, I've received conflicting information from the front desk (usually from the guy that sometimes works the front desk), which has made it difficult to meet my pet's needs and medical treatment. Bringing my pet to a different vet today showed me the vast difference in care and treatment. Including the new vet informing of a procedure that could help my dog with a chronic issue. Something Banfield has never mentioned in all the times I've been bringing my dog in. Plus, my dog actually likes going to this new vet as opposed to the shakes she would get going into Banfields.

Dr. Rachel and her Vet Tech have been wonderful and have taken well care of my Laika. They walk you through and make sure you understand each procedure, and what they will do prior to taking action.

I would suggest shopping for pet wellness AND insurance plans for your pet before committing to Banfields wellness plan. I did, and I found a combo plan that was about $2 more a month than Banfield's standalone wellness plan.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
