Hi Richard, thanks for asking but we generally do not take household items such as curtains and drapes. You may want to try The Wish Project or FamilyAid Boston if you have household items in good condition to donate. Thanks for thinking of Catie's Closet!
Catie's Closet will definitely take and distribute prom dresses. They probably will not pick up unless you have many bags of clothes or live near a distribution center (Dracut or Hyde Park). You can however, print a shipping label for free from the website to ship clothes to them.
I've dropped off clothes twice on Saturday mornings, door is open and the staff is very grateful for the donation. The building is tucked away on School St, so look for their vans out front.
