Middlesex recovery has been my place for opiate dependency and out-patient care for years now. They are one collective group, consisting of Suboxone prescribing Dr.s who really do care, and become intimately involved with each of their patients respectively. Along with the helpful and friendly staff of in-takers and receptionists who are always at the ready with a smile and greeting, counselors who do not bug you but ate readily available with their office doors wide open and more smiles and are great at providing a friendly ear and much appreciated and needed support. There is also some office managers and other personnel, all within reach if need be. My personal Dr...Dr Smichael is one of the tougher physicians ant Middlesex Recovery. She has thatno nonsense attitude which has had me feeling like I was in the hot seT at the principals office on more than one occasion. However she clearly just wants the best for her patients and holds people to a standard she finds they are capable of achieving. Sometimes as patients and addicts, it is the slightly uncomfortable places that we need to go, in order to get back to the person we wish to be Gain. Dr Smichael is also incredibly patient and very charming. It is a welcomed visit I make to the office regularly. One where I feelni am under the best care of people who k ow what they are up against in this opiate and drug crisis of America and still they choose to be there and deliver the best care and do so in a warm and pleasant way. Lastly , I will mention that as an addict conflicted with ADD as well as other minor mental health issues, I am never turned away. With myself running late often, as long as the office is still open and I call to let them know my ETA, they have never said anything except " we will see you when you get here." It's a real relief to know that my serial tardiness won't cause me any undue of stress or create uncertainty with receiving my meds.

I have been a patient in the Woburn, MA office for 3 years. Dr. LaPlante is my doctor. I have received high quality, no judgement treatment from her since my first appt. with her. I now have Dr. Smikle who is, also, providing high quality, no judgement addiction medicine for me.
