The longest I have ever waited is 3 minutes in this facility. All the staff have been so helpful during this challenging time in my life. They are helping me as much as they can and doing their best during these times and I appreciate their time.

The Redding office has some great people working there. Janna (spelling?) helped me get through to SDI when all hope had been lost, she stuck with me for days calling. Thank you so much!!!

Can't get help. After an hour on the phone they just hang up on you. Tons of gov. money and no one to answer the phones, they just hang up on you, when will the state be run by honest hard working people?

love how their automated message says they still are taking phone calls yet everyone one of their menu options sends you to an automated message or to any other service other than the unemployment office. Convicts would do a better job than these guys.

Is the Redding CA office open
Go to the office on pine street. They should be able to get you through to a live person.
Yes you can get UI if you quit your job!. All depends why you did and keep documenting your reason. Anyone who think's they "know" have no clue. I have quit 2 jobs and received full UI benefits!. Don't let any other say different
They are open by appointment only, there is a local number posted on the door of the Pine St. Office to schedule an appointment.
Call the 800 number for the EDD office or go in and schedule the new appointment the secretary will help you
Walk in and they will help you immediately. Sense they have been open again it's been super smooth
Do you use the app? It will at least show if the paperwork was received but you can also call, which admittedly, is a joke. You have to navigate through the touch-tone menu to get to an option to speak to a representative and even then wait times can be long. They make it intentionally difficult to receive a payment from the money we pay them.
You will have to call and make appt for a phone appt. If necessary, they can also set up in person meeting. Long time out for that, patience is the word of the day
Nope, unless you make an appt way in advance. I know, I went there in person.
No you cannot. And when u call the number to the office it is the same recording we all know too well.
Alana hello ,Ive had the same problem ive called ive texted to have web page up dated to get benifits .im sorry ive a no help .God Bless if If i come up with anything i will post .
Not always, however since the world has The Cold.. better to check with them.
You have to have worked in the last 18 months so if you were on sdi for less than 18 months and you had a job before being on sdi, in that 18 month period, then yes you can.
Closed for lunch from noon to 1pm, weekdays, of course. Closed weekends and holidays. Good luck!
