Not because I have to pay child support but because I can never get a hold of anyone to talk about my case info and the website says that I can only see my payment info. How convenient. Does anyone care about doing their jobs anymore 🤔

This office staff has come a long way. They are way more efficient now, and the front desk man is so funny, polite and knows his stuff. It now is pleasant to go during a tough time. They were informative and very helpful. My paperwork was submitted!

The website reads: Guilford County Child Support Enforcement is a part of a larger state, national and even international body with a common purpose, a vision of “Economic Self-Sufficiency for Single Parent Families”. Locally our Mission is “To assure that Guilford County children in single-parent households are supported by their non-custodial parents”. I opened my case in 2016. They granted me $50/month. His father went off the grid. I've provided every piece of information requested (social security, work history, phone number etc.) But because he won't provide his physical address they closed my case December 2020. I get no financial support for my child from the non custodial parent. I cannot afford a lawyer. I am only granted $19 in food stamps by the state. Housing assistance denied me because I make a few extra dollars over thier approval (applied AFTER my case was closed). I dont make 3xs the income requirement for most apartments. Doctor appointments, groceries, laundry, rent, homework, clothing, daycare/summer camp/after-school care are solely taken care of by me while I am employed full time battling my own health issues. All they want is an address. His father told me to "figure it out." I am truly disappointed in being such a clean record, tax paying American and cannot seek justice and care for my dependent because of a terrible loop hole in this system. The only good that came out of this besides my beautiful smart child is my faith in God is solid. I cannot credit anything but his mercy on me helping keep my head up every time I am denied help from the government and his earthly father. God bless any other parent going through this.

I've been waiting a year for just a court date and still haven't gotten one yet. This has been taking way too long. I have an interstate case and I understand those can take a little longer than local cases, but I've been having to get answers from the child support office in the other state because the people at this office will not return my calls or e-mails. The out-of-state office is frustrated that I'm talking to them instead of my home office. This place is REALLY irritating.

Every individual case and process is different.
You go down to the office sign then the other party goes to the office to sign. They send it to a judge to sign. After that it is established. You both have to agree on the amount or you go to court.
You can call the office to find out. There's also a 1800 number as well.
Oh hes going to pay. Just stay positive!! I am so sick of these dead beat donors that has the nerve to call themselves fathers! Let me stop right there. Stay Blessed
Yes go and take out on yourself...that way when you bring your papers saying how much you make annually or monthly you wont have to worry about her lawyer trying to to the max on you...plus it shows you want to take care of them
go to Social security.. they will take care of all that for you. Good luck
No, on next business day, you need to call for a reschedule because you had missed the meeting.
