Just went in there this morning, after sleeping in my car all weekend. I just needed a way to get to a shelter. I told that lady what was going on, she assumed I wanted money, I didn't. Then she became really condescending, going on about how everything was my fault, and how maybe I shouldn't have left my abusive ex because then I wouldn't be homeless right now. Like no, I'd probably just be dead.

The best place for ladies of NC you can't resources here for work, school, clothes, therapy.... Everything. The ppl are really nice and youll be satisfied with the service.

In the past the resource center was a wonderful center to come if you needed help with anything big or small . But today I was shown another side of the center which was unhelpful.As a single mother of four children working a full time job life could be a bit hectic. I use to consider the Women's Resource Center a place for women to obtain resources that they might not have available so we may better ourselves . Instead my experience with the Women's Resource Center was in un helpful as they directed me to Office Max .
